AC United FC is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and positive environment for all members.

The MPO is the club’s first point of contact for concerns relating to discrimination, harassment and child protection. They provide a confidential and impartial service by listening, explaining policies and processes, and outlining available options and next steps.

An MPO does not investigate complaints, determine outcomes, mediate between parties, or take sides.

OUR COMMITMENT TO PROTECTING MEMBERS

AC United FC, in alignment with the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association (SDSFA), implements the following measures:

1. CODE OF CONDUCT

Applies to all players, coaches, officials and spectators, outlining expected standards of behaviour. Available on our website.

2. WORKING WITH CHILDREN COMPLIANCE

All coaches, managers and officials working with children hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) verified by the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian.

3. Education and Training

Officials receive annual child protection guidance and are encouraged to complete Play by the Rules training to support safe environments.

4. Match Day Supervision

Ground officials are present at Powhatan Reserve to monitor behaviour and address inappropriate conduct.
